Joy Krimm (viola) joined the HHJC faculty in 2018 after being inspired by the rootsy-jazz influences found in the score of SSTI’s production of Tuck Everlasting. A gifted Suzuki teacher, Ms. Krimm served as the director of music at Sea Pines Montessori Academy and now directs the choral and strings program at Hilton Head Christian Academy combining her background in both classical music and Appalachian-inspired fiddle tunes to open up her students to a world of improvisation. With local experience performing with the Hilton Head Symphony and their outreach Soundwaves series, we are fortunate to have Ms. Krimm as a part of the HHJC faculty.
